After a storm with hail literally the size of golf balls damaged most of the buildings in Casper, Wyoming in 1978, local contractors couldnt keep up with insurance business demand for repair work. Two siblings, Lee and Larry Judson, saw an opportunity to take their construction skills on the road to help out and make a little money. They ended up mastering exterior remodels and forming K-Designers. K-Designers is now one of the biggest exterior remodeling firms in the western United States.

The brothers never set out to build a nationwide brand, but via a tight focus on doing one thing and doing it well, K-Designers eventually grew to over 900 associates in 11 locations serving 18 states. For the first decade or so, K-Designers focused exclusively on exterior siding, perfecting their systems and supply chain. Gradually they added replacement windows and exterior doors. As the business has matured in size, they have been able to acquire major pricing and service from manufacturers, which has helped them make their installations even smoother, more reliable and cost effective.

As they grew, the were able to obtain greater pricing and service from manufacturers, and today everything they buy, down to the nails, is direct from the manufacturer. The result is reliable, cost effective work. K-Designers in house design teams make sure the finished product is not only energy efficient, but visually appealing.
