Robbie Williams Could Become next X-Factor Judge
Simon Cowell wants Robbie Williams to become the fifth member of The X Factor panel.
He reckons the ex-Take That singer, 35, would be able to share useful advice with the contestants.
‘It’s not a question of there being a vacancy on the panel – in fact there may be an addition,’ Simon, 50, said on Saturday’s Xtra Factor.
‘Robbie would make a good judge. He has got good instincts, he doesn’t take himself too seriously and he is a fun guy to be around – that’s why I like having Louis Walsh on the panel, he’s fun.
‘I genuinely haven’t spoken to Robbie about it though.’
Robbie Williams has confessed that a series of health problems have left him feeling like “an old man”. The 35-year-old singer, who has endured pain in his back, knee, and groin, revealed he was planning to pump some iron to get fit again.
“I haven’t been training recently, but I vowed to get back in the gym. I’m going to start boxing again and get fit,” Contactmusic quoted the former Take That star as saying.
“Since I’ve been in my 30s the knee’s gone, the groin’s gone, the back’s gone. I’m an old man. When I get massages I get too bored as I can’t sit down for long,” he added.
